1. Not a Marriage Bureau / विवाह ब्यूरो नहीं

Samaj Vivah is not registered as a marriage bureau under any state Marriage Bureau (Regulation) Act. We do not act as brokers, agents, or matchmakers. We are a technology platform that enables community members to discover and connect with each other independently.

2. No Profile Verification / कोई प्रोफ़ाइल सत्यापन नहीं

We do not independently verify any information provided by users, including but not limited to:

Name, age, or date of birth
Marital or divorce status
Educational qualifications
Employment, income, or profession
Family background or gotra
Photos (may not be recent or genuine)
Physical descriptions

Users and their families are solely responsible for verifying all information independently before making any matrimonial decision.

3. No Guarantee of Match / मिलान की कोई गारंटी नहीं

Samaj Vivah makes no representation or warranty that:

You will find a suitable match on this platform
Any connection made through this platform will result in marriage
Profiles shown are active, available, or genuinely seeking matrimony

4. Fraud & Fake Profiles / धोखाधड़ी और नकली प्रोफ़ाइल

Despite our moderation efforts, fraudulent or fake profiles may exist on the platform. Samaj Vivah is not liable for any financial loss, emotional harm, or other damages resulting from interactions with fraudulent users.

If you suspect a fraudulent profile, report it immediately using the in-app “Report” button. In case of financial fraud, file a complaint with your local police and cybercrime.gov.in.

5. User-Generated Content / उपयोगकर्ता-निर्मित सामग्री

All profile content, photos, messages, and biodatas are created and submitted by users themselves. Samaj Vivah is not the author of this content and is not responsible for its accuracy, truthfulness, or legality. Views expressed by users are their own and do not represent the views of Samaj Vivah.

6. Dowry Prohibition Notice / दहेज निषेध नोटिस

Dowry is illegal under the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Any discussion, demand, or acceptance of dowry through this platform is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination. Users who demand dowry may be reported to law enforcement authorities.

दहेज निषेध अधिनियम, 1961 के तहत दहेज अवैध है। इस मंच के माध्यम से दहेज की किसी भी माँग से खाता तत्काल बंद किया जाएगा।
