बाल सुरक्षा मानक

Last updated: July 2026 · Our policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).

🛡️ Zero Tolerance / शून्य सहनशीलता

Samaj Vivah is a matrimony platform built exclusively for adults of legal marriageable age. We have zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in any form. Any account, content, or behaviour that endangers a minor is removed immediately and reported to the appropriate authorities.

Samaj Vivah केवल कानूनी विवाह योग्य आयु के वयस्कों के लिए एक मंच है। बाल यौन शोषण के प्रति हमारी शून्य सहनशीलता है।

1. Our Commitment

Samaj Vivah is committed to protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation, both on our platform and off it. This policy explains how we keep minors off the platform, how we moderate content, how anyone — user or not — can report a concern, and how we respond when one is raised. This page is published for compliance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and, more importantly, because user safety is a founding principle of this platform.

2. Adults-Only Platform / केवल वयस्कों के लिए

Samaj Vivah is not directed at, marketed to, or intended for use by children. Registration is restricted to the legal marriageable age under the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006:

  • At least 18 years for women
  • At least 21 years for men

No part of the app — profile browsing, chat, photos, or notifications — is designed to appeal to children, and we do not knowingly allow anyone below these ages to hold an account.

3. Zero Tolerance for CSAE Content

We strictly prohibit any content or behaviour that sexualises, endangers, or exploits a minor, including but not limited to:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in any photo, message, or link
  • Any attempt to solicit, groom, or contact a minor for a sexual purpose
  • Any profile created for or by a person below the legal marriageable age
  • Sharing of content that sexualises minors, even if fictional or AI-generated

Violations result in immediate, permanent account termination, removal of the content, and a report to law enforcement — no warning is given.

4. Preventing Minors from Joining

  • Date of birth is collected and validated at registration; accounts below the minimum legal age are blocked from signing up (see minAgeFor() checks enforced on both the website and mobile app).
  • Profiles and biodatas are reviewed for signals of underage users (school/college-only context, inconsistent stated age, guardian-authored language, etc.).
  • Any account later found to belong to a minor is suspended immediately upon detection or report, regardless of how long it has been active.

5. Content Moderation

All user-submitted content passes through a combination of:

  • Admin review of reported profiles, photos, and messages
  • In-app reporting tools available on every profile, chat, and message
  • Account-level enforcement — warnings, feature restrictions, suspension, or permanent ban depending on severity

CSAE-related reports are always treated as the highest severity and are escalated ahead of all other moderation queues.

6. How to Report a Concern

Anyone — a registered user, a parent/guardian, or a member of the public who is not on the platform at all — can report a child safety concern:

In-app: Use the “Report” button on any profile, photo, or message — it reaches our moderation team instantly.

Email: info@samajvivah.in with subject line “URGENT: Child Safety Concern” — this works even if you have never used the app.

Please include as much detail as possible (profile name/ID, screenshots, dates) so we can act quickly. You do not need an account to submit a report by email.

7. Our Response Process

  • Child safety reports are reviewed on priority, ahead of the standard 24–48 hour response window for other safety reports.
  • Confirmed violations result in immediate account suspension pending investigation, and permanent termination if substantiated.
  • Offending content is removed and preserved securely (not deleted) where required for a law enforcement investigation.
  • We do not notify the reported user before action is taken on a CSAE report.

8. Law Enforcement Cooperation

Where a report indicates actual or suspected CSAE, we cooperate with law enforcement, including:

  • Filing a complaint with the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal — cybercrime.gov.in — or the National Cyber Crime Helpline 1930
  • Reporting under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, where applicable
  • Preserving relevant account and content data to support a lawful investigation, consistent with our Privacy Policy
